What is the EU Blue Card?

This is a residence permit issued by a Member State of the European Community for the  purpose of taking up employment in the Member State concerned for third-country nationals. It is primarily intended for highly qualified third-country nationals to enable them to stay in the EU. The  “EU Blue Card  Germany” must be applied for at the responsible Foreigners’ Registration Office in Germany before the entry visa expires.
