Can I have a part-time job while I am looking for a job?

Yes, with the new “Opportunity Card” from 1 June 2024, employment of up to 20 hours per week is permitted while looking for a job, as well as trial employment with a future employer for up to 2 weeks. Once you have found a job, you can get the appropriate residence permit to work and receive an extension of the opportunity card for up to 2 more years.
